I’m going to lay it out there. Recently, I’ve been disappointed in people around me. At first, I thought I was expecting too much, maybe even pushing too hard — but it comes down to something more fundamental: entitlement. There are people who feel that they are entitled to things just because they have been able to get away with it all their life. I don’t want to put up with any of it. So what? You’re wealthy? Abnormally cute? It doesn’t mean anything unless you do something interesting with it, and then learn some new skills on top of that. Don’t just sit there expecting things to be handed over on a silver platter. I don’t think that’s asking for too much. And, if it is, then disagree with me. I challenge you.
